This is a rare opportunity to step into a greenfield leadership role and define the way strategic projects are managed at scale. As VP - Portfolio Management, you'll set up and lead the enterprise PMO, building out the structure, tooling, and team to provide governance and visibility across all major initiatives across the group.

Job Description

  • Design and implement the enterprise PMO operating model, from frameworks to dashboards to reporting cadences.
  • Lead and scale a team of PMO professionals overseeing planning, tracking, risk management, and delivery health.
  • Establish a single source of truth for project and program reporting across the enterprise, including the adoption of tools.
  • Act as a gatekeeper for project governance: ensure every new initiative meets quality thresholds, risk controls, and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Work closely with C-level stakeholders, translating delivery data into strategic insights and highlighting risks, delays or delivery concerns early.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal delivery teams to drive execution, particularly across digital and AI-led transformation initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Deep experience in enterprise PMO, portfolio, or transformation leadership roles within large complex organisations.
  • Proven track record setting up and scaling PMO structures from the ground up.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build high-performing teams and influence at senior levels - must have led teams of at least 8 people.
  • Fluent in project governance methodologies, reporting frameworks, and portfolio tools.
  • Sector background is open, but you must be comfortable operating in fast-moving, complex environments.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on, outcomes-first approach.
