We are seeking a dedicated Sales Director to drive the sales and service team for a Packaging machinery client to new heights. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a knack for developing and implementing effective sales strategies and extensive team management experience.

Our client is a well-established, large organisation in the Packaging, processing and labelling solutions sector. They have a solid reputation for quality and have a diverse product range that caters majorly to FMCG, Beverages and food manufacturing industries.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate goals
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly
  • Review and analyse sales performances against programs and plans
  • Manage sales and service team to ensure maximum performance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients
  • Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings and exhibitions to promote products and services
  • Collaborate with other departments to address key business issues in the organisation

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sales Director should have:

  • A degree in Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in a senior sales role within the packaging materials/ machinery industry
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate teams
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Proficient in all aspects of corporate sales strategy development and implementation
  • Experience of managing a multi-country portfolio in GCC
